If you are a single adult, you are invited to the next OHLC Singles Fellowship gathering on Saturday, November 15, from Noon to 3pm. Food will be shared, so please consider bringing a main dish, salad, appetizer, dessert, or snack. Bring containers, too, so you can take home someone else’s leftovers!
There are quite a few games in the Fellowship Hall that some folks might be interested in playing or please bring your own favorite game, whether it’s cribbage, dominos, Scrabble, Uno, etc.

Lydia Circle will be hosting their annual Christmas Bazaar in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, November 8, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. There will be a variety of handmade crafts, wonderful gifts, knitted items, holiday decor, and more.
Your donations of craft items and/or baked goods are needed and much appreciated. Craft items may be brought to the church office. Baked goods can be brought to church on Friday, November 7. Questions? Contact Mary Brock.

To honor and remember those who have died, we will have an indoor luminaria walk on All Saints Sunday, November 2, from 5pm to 7pm.
You are invited to decorate up to three paper bags in memory of someone special to you. The walk will include a projected slide-show of some of the saints we are remembering. Bags from previous years are saved to be displayed again.
Luminaria bags are available in the narthex. Please return your decorated bags by Noon on November 2. To include a digital picture for the slide-show, email it to Beth Stephens at beth@oakharborlutheran.org by October 30.

Our Bible-focused Youth & Family Gatherings continue on Sunday, October 5, from 4pm-6pm as we explore what the Bible teaches us about God as the creator of the universe. We will also explore the good news that God created each of us, knitting us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), giving us our bodies, bodies that are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Fun activities and an intergenerational Bible study with Pastor Jeff will help bring these great truths to light. We will also share a special dinner of mac & cheese and salad to celebrate Miss Beth’s birthday! Don’t miss it!

The Watoto Children’s Choir will be performing in the Oak Harbor High School Performing Arts Center on Thursday, September 11, at 7:30pm, sponsored by the Watoto Team at OHLC. This is a concert you won’t want to miss!
