Ash Wednesday services will be held at Noon and 7pm on Wednesday, February 14. Join us as we begin the season of Lent with the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion.
Lutherwood Update and Q&A
Lutherwood is our ministry of the month for February. On Sunday, February 11, we will have an update and Q&A session led by Mike Dilley in the church library at 9:15am. All are welcome. Come learn more about our camp!
Psalms Bible Study
Begin the new year by joining us for a four-session study of the Psalms, beginning January 7. This class will be taught in the church library both on Sunday mornings from 9:15AM-10:15AM, and again on Wednesday evenings from 7:00PM-8:00PM. Bring your Bibles and come explore the psalms!

A new member class will be held on Sunday, February 4, at Noon. Anyone interested in becoming a member of OHLC is encouraged to attend. Merely curious? You’re welcome too! A light lunch will be served. Please RSVP via the Connection Card or by emailing Pastor Spencer at [email protected].
Jan. 21: Semi-Annual Meeting
Mark your calendars for our semi-annual meeting! All voting members of Oak Harbor Lutheran are encouraged to attend as we consider our congregational budget for 2024, vote on an update to our by-laws, and attend to other items of business. A full agenda and related documents for the meeting will be made available by Sunday, January 14.
We will also be seeking candidates for the following positions for election at the meeting:
- Delegates (2) to Josephine Home, our Lutheran nursing home/care facility in Stanwood
- Delegates (2) to Lutherwood, our camp and retreat center in Bellingham
- Voting Members (up to 3) to the 2024 Northwest Washington Synod Assembly, held Saturday, May 18, at Grace Lutheran Church in Des Moines, WA.

JAN 6: TWELFTH NIGHT PARTY
How about one more party before the holiday season is over?
