READINGS AND DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
READ 1:1-11 How are we reminded in this passage that God is the God of all nations? How are we reminded that the people of Israel have a special role to play? What would it be like for these people to return home after 50 years?
READ 3:8-13 Why would this be a moment of such mixed emotions for the people of Israel, especially the elders?
READ 4:1-5 What factors might be at work here in the refusal of the people of Judah to work with their fellow Jews?
